I'll Get The Glue!

Tonight Mitchell went for a bike ride with Josh. He came home having learned a very important lesson - driving through sand on pavement is slippery! He ended up with bloody scrapes on one knee. I'd just put a bandaid on his chin from a scrape he received while playing games at Kid's Club (organized by a co-worker and fellow mom) so the triple antibiotic* tube was still on the bathroom vanity.

I cleaned Mitchell's wound and started pulling out the bandaids I'd need to cover up his "owie" when Julia said, "I'll get out the glue!" and brought me the triple antibiotic tube. We've put so many bandaids on her with triple antibiotic (she is a mosquito magnet - and she scratches them til they bleed so we cover them all up so she won't have scars) she must have thought that the ointment was glue so they'd stick! :) Just a little taste of our everyday life... (The photo below is from one of the times we bandaged all of Julia's mosquito bites.)

*For those who don't know, triple antibiotic is the same as Neosporin.
