Julia kept asking me to cut her hair, so one day I did it. I read online about a way to layer hair where you have the person lay face up on a table with the hair hanging vertically. It said all you had to do was cut it across horizontally and you would be done so I tried it. This is Julia's first ever haircut - I almost cried when it was done. She looks so much more grown-up with it cut. The bottom is not nearly as curly as it was before.
This was an excited Julia saying "Thank You Mommy!".
I will try to find a "before" picture of her with her hair combed straight down and one now with it "done". (No crying, Mom! It was bound to happen sometime!)

I can't believe you cut her hair. Seriously. I don't even know how long it'll be before I'll talk to you again. It looked like spun gold lying there on the floor. And the CURLS!! *sob*
