This year our Julia had a three-day birthday celebration:
Here's our 6-year-old with her special-request pancake breakfast ON her birthday!
She got to open a small gift from us as well as presents from Nana & Papa, and Aunt Tamara.
Later in the day we participated in our church's Christmas celebration. Josh and I helped with the special number. Katrina did NOT enjoy that. See her?
The next day we all went out for a special dinner, and Julia opened her "bigger" gift from us (an addition to her Littlest Pet Shop Cafe - the part closer to her).
THEN, the NEXT day, we enjoyed her birthday cake. We'd planned to do the cake the day of the special dinner but the frosting was too runny to frost the cake with, so we put it off one more day. We already had plans for friends to join us for the evening, so they helped us eat her cake too!
