Smoothies and Frog Legs

Sometimes on a Saturday, when we don't have a lot of projects to do around the house, we take the kids out for lunch. This particular day we took the kids out to our favorite smoothie place, and while there, we decided to take try the restaurant next door for the rest of our meal!

Dragonfruit Smoothie
Soursop, Avocado and Guava Smoothies

Added a mango smoothie on the end, so pretty!

Happy Customers!

The man in the background (yellow shirt) was manning the woks, about 3 in a row, preparing various dishes.  The guy in the foreground was like a waiter while the one on the left seemed to be taking orders and payment.
Food on display - cooked and raw
The round part of the countertop was actually a cutting board where they used a meat cleaver to cut up...meat of course!  There were vegetables hanging in the window part.
Noodles with pork and greens
Ginger Frog Legs with spicy peppers and greens
I can't say I LOVED the frog legs.  I often order ginger chicken when we go out, so I thought they would be tasty prepared this way.  I wasn't disappointed, but it definitely weirded me out a bit to SEE the sinew and to pull it off the bones.  Looked a bit too much like the real thing (no feathers to disguise the shape when it's alive).
