This Easter I continued the tradition of making Paska, the Mennonite citrus Easter bread. We also went through the Easter story with the Resurrection Eggs. It was Katrina's first year of starting to grasp the story, and so cool to see her tracking with the story.
We had a "last" coffee with our dear "Aunt/Sister" Naomi. She left our field (for now) to get married.
Sure will miss you, Naomi!

We took a "last trip to the beach" with Naomi and a couple of other friends as well.
The trip to the beach was also a "last hurrah" for our family as Mitchell and I left for the US the next week for his surgery.
