Beach trip

Towards the end of Tamara's visit we took her to our "rustic camping beach hotel".  I say it that way cause if it really was just a hotel it would be really sad.  This is the kind where you keep track of the roaches you killed to compare with your friends' last stay there!  The beach has sand and the water is wet, so that meets Josh & the kids' requirements!

We went in "jellyfish season" and though we had some minor stings, none were bad enough to stop the fun.

This is the beginnings of a wall they were building - I think to stop the beach from eroding into the ocean.

Climbing up the bank.  There's a combination of dead leaves, trash and broken glass on the sand.  We have to be very careful, or wear shoes (or both).
Supper - fish and rice

Taking a hike down the beach

Breakfast - really!  The other option was... you guessed it! RICE!

 Fisherman

A stream flowed into the ocean here and it was cool to see the colors colliding!
Floating in the rays of the setting sun!
