Out and about

When Tamara visited us, we still co-owned our 1995 Toyota Kijang with another family that works in town here.  (They've since gone on an extended home assignment and we bought them out)  We had the car one week, and they'd have it the next.  If we needed it while it was at their house, we'd have to either walk over (it wasn't far) or take a bike and park it there until we dropped the car back off when we were done.  It worked really well for both of our families.  We split repair costs and both filled in gas and kept track of it.  This was our walk to get the car.

This guy, already dead, was on our path one day.

Josh took Tamara out for a date!
When we order in for dinner, this is often how it comes (when it's NOT in a plastic bag stapled shut...)
A family favorite - chicken and pork in various preparations - roasted, smoked, you name it, and then randomly chopped up.  Served with cucumbers and half a smoked egg (SO tasty).
Another favorite - honey roasted chicken with tofu, smoked tempe, stir-fried green beans (they never give us enough of those - so good!) with some hot sauce on the side in a zip-loc bag.
