I love making lattes for Josh - he particularly enjoyed this one! :)
Easter here is totally not commercialized, but we do love our tradition of opening one Resurrection Egg each day the 12 days before Easter and retelling the story of Calvary and Resurrection! We actually found some foil-wrapped "eggs" just after Chinese New Year (think they were intended for that event) so I picked them up for our Easter celebration.
A new tradition I started this year is making Easter bread, a.k.a. Paska. The kids LOVED it!
My first-ever Mother's day breakfast in bed!
Never an outing goes by (or at least the ones where I take the time to put makeup on) when my youngest doesn't ask to put on make-up too! One time I said no, and she responded, "But Mom, I need to - I'm going out!" :) I scrounged up my travel brush roll for her to "use" when I'm putting my make-up on.
So pretty!
Mom, is this brush for my cheeks?
We had a family who headed back to Canada (concluding their service here) - and in order to properly say goodbye, they hosted an event where they all handprinted each other's t-shirts for remembrance! I helped to organize it, and it was a LOT of fun!
The afternoon before we were to celebrate Josh's birthday (late May), the kids were playing in a downpour, and Julia slipped on the tile. The result? A trip to the E.R. for stitches. She was pretty brave.
5 stitches later

Showing off her badge of courage! (Happy 36th birthday, Josh!)
