Our plan was to spend a couple of days in the modern city, shopping for groceries and other items we can't get where we live. Our first stop: the toy store that sells LEGO!! We got there 10 minutes before it opened and it was highly entertaining to see the kids' amazement at the sheer volume of Lego in the windows! (Check out Spencer's body language in the photo below!!)
It was so fun to all sit down and enjoy a chair massage! It was 2 Malaysian Ringgit for 5 minutes - the kids had never experienced a chair massage so it was fun to watch them!
A highlight for the kids was dinner at McDonald's! They even had a play structure!
We went for a sunset walk along the river walk! So beautiful!
Had to take a picture - Josh seldom has time to read novels!
The girls LOVED the silky feel of hotel sheets!
The boys LOVED the variety that the hotel's breakfast gave them each morning!
Donuts for breakfast! What a treat!
Didn't even have to make our own coffee! :)
The view from our breakfast table
One mall we went to had a juice bar - Julia enjoyed a coconut drink.
Katrina TRIED the carrot juice - but she's really more of a milk or water kid. Not a big fan of juices o f any sort (or even soda).
Spencer enjoying an orange mango drink.
