Katrina's birthday and a late Birthday/Father's Day gift for Josh

The day Tamara left was a sad one for us all.  It was also Katrina's 3rd birthday.  We went for a long drive together, and then stopped at Dunkin' Donuts for a donut-only lunch. The kids each chose two donuts and that was their entire meal!  (Scandalous, I know! We rarely do this...I know someone will be asking WHAT I was thinking!)

The birthday girl - PINK is the color of the day!
Gotta love the donuts with pink sprinkles!  Happy 3rd birthday, Katrina!

I had been scheming for a while to get a grill MADE for Josh - first for his birthday, then for Father's Day, but a good drum was not to be found.  The colleague I was collaborating with to arrange this surprise suddenly called me one day and said that there was a REAL GRILL in the store where he was shopping but they didn't have many in stock!  We jumped in the car after dinner that evening and brought home Josh's gift!  We have grilled many a sausage and pork chop on that grill already!  What a treat!  Our first real grill since 2006!  Thank you Lord!
